Varieties: Manzanilla, Queen of spain, carignola, mission and frantoio(all producing since 2007) growing mostly in liberally-draining rich sandy loam soils, gentle slope has predominantly easterly aspect. Harvests cycle biannually, groves produce at different years in those cycles. To date, all harvests, except for 2007, have been processed into table olives, following time honoured recipes from Italy and spain. All varieties can be utilized for total harvest oil production, albeit with different fruit mass/oil ratios. Trees were planted for easy access for slashing and mowing; to date, picking machine, but not advised due to heavy toll to trees.
